Prince Albert Police & Fire members to play in “Guns vs. Hoses Game”
Members of the Prince Albert Police and Prince Albert Fire Departments will play a friendly exhibition game on Saturday February 21st at 1:00 pm at the Art Hauser Centre.
The Raiders are excited to host the first ever “Guns vs. Hoses” game presented by Firehouse Subs. Members of both teams will play two 25 minute straight time periods in a game that is free to attend. Raiders Business Manager Michael Scissons comments; “It is going to be a lot of fun to see our true local heroes participate in this game. The strength and pride in our community is based in large part to the work the members of both the Prince Albert Police and Prince Albert Fire Departments provide. To be able to let them enjoy a day of hockey is something the Raiders are extremely happy to do”.
Later that evening, Firehouse Subs is sponsoring the Raiders game vs. the Swift Current Broncos, where the Raiders will be donating half of their take of that evenings 50/50 to the Firehouse Public Safety Foundation. The Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation of Canada is dedicated to improving the lifesaving capabilities of first responders and public safety organizations in communities served by Firehouse Subs by providing funding, resources and support.
