Game Preview: Game Three @ Edmonton
SETTING IT UP:
Game Three of the 2025 WHL Playoffs Presented by Nutrien is set to go down tonight in Edmonton between the Raiders and Oil Kings. After dropping Game One on Friday night, Prince Albert responded in a big way on Saturday, beating Edmonton 6-1 to even up the first round at a game apiece.
WHO’S HOT:
Niall Crocker has three goals in the first two games of the series. He scored once on Friday and added two more on Saturday. Daxon Rudolph’s three assist night on Saturday launched him to the team lead in points, as he now sits at four (all assists). Max Hildebrand had a pair of big games on the weekend, stringing together a 1.51 GAA and a .963 SV%. Lukas Dragicevic had a goal and a pair of assists on Saturday, while Aiden Oiring and Harrison Lodewyk had two points each.
SPECIAL TEAMS:
Prince Albert’s penalty kill has been unreal to start the postseason. In two games, they have held Edmonton to just one powerplay goal on 12 attempts (91.7%). The green and gold’s powerplay is sitting at 18.2%.
