Four Raiders labelled as Players to Watch by NHL Central Scouting
NHL Central Scouting released their Preliminary Players to Watch list, and among that list is are four Raiders.
Ryder Ritchie was labelled as an ‘A’ ranked prospect, meaning a 1st round pick candidate. 28 players in total were ‘A’ ranked players. Five other players in the WHL were also given the ‘A’ rank (Berkly Catton, Tanner Howe, Adam Jecho, Cayden Lindstrom, and Carter Yakemchuk).
Through 12 games this season, Ritchie leads the Raiders in scoring with 16 points (7G-9A). In 73 career WHL games, Ritchie has maintained a near point-per-game average, with 71 points (27G-44A).
Matej Kubiesa has had a good start to his first season with the Raiders. In 12 games, the import forward has three goals and four assists. Grady Martin has six points in eight games to start his second WHL season with Prince Albert. Cole Peardon has registered five points in eight games so far this season, including a goal in Prince Albert’s most recent game against the Moose Jaw Warriors on Saturday night.
