Game Preview – Game 6 vs. Moose Jaw
RAIDER REVIEW: The Raiders (1-4-0-0) host the Moose Jaw Warriors (2-2-0-0) in the second leg of a home-and-home series between the East Division clubs. On Wednesday, the Raiders picked up their first win by beating the Warriors 3-2 in Moose Jaw. Kaiden Guhle (2a) and Ozzy Wiesblatt (1g-1a) each had two points in the win. Niall Crocker and Reece Vitelli also scored. Carter Serhyenko made 20 saves for the win.

ON THE BOARD: Niall Crocker scored his first WHL goal in his 28th career game on Wednesday night in Moose Jaw. It also held up as the game-winning goal. Crocker, a first-round pick of the Raiders in the 2019 WHL Prospects Draft, also has five assists for six points in his WHL career.
IMPACTFUL RETURN: Kaiden Guhle recorded a pair of assists in his return to the Raiders’ lineup on Wednesday night. He has a goal and three assists in his last three WHL games. The Raiders captain was returned to Prince Albert at the end of the Montreal Canadiens’ training camp.
[related_links] DOUBLING DOWN: Kaiden Guhle and Ozzy Wiesblatt recorded the first multi-point games of the 2021-22 season for the Raiders on Wednesday night. It was Guhle’s first multi-point game since March 3, 2020 against the Calgary Hitmen. Ozzy Wiesblatt had eight multi-point nights last season in the Hub Centre.
ROSTER NEWS: Prince Albert traded overage forward Eric Pearce to the Brandon Wheat Kings. Pearce, a Regina product, played in two games for the Raiders this season. He suited up in 197 career games for Prince Albert, scoring 21 goals and 20 assists over five seasons, winning the Ed Chynoweth Cup in 2019. In other roster moves, the Raiders recalled 2004-born forward Alex Mack (SSAC Athletics), and re-assigned defenceman Tre Fouquette (La Ronge Ice Wolves, SJHL) and forward Ethan Ironside (Kindersley Klippers, SJHL).
