Game Preview: Game 34 vs Kelowna
TUESDAY RECAP:
The Raiders recovered from a Saturday loss nicely, defeating the Kamloops Blazers 3-1 on Tuesday night at the Art Hauser Centre. Luke Moroz opened the scoring 2:39 into the game, while Eric Johnston scored the game winner in the second period and Sloan Stanick scored one of the nicest goals you will see all season in the third. It was another stellar outing from Max Hildebrand, who stopped 37 of 38 shots.
COBRA CHICKENS:
On Wednesday, the Raiders unveiled a new look that they will be debuting for one night only this season. On January 26th against the Saskatoon Blades, the Cobra Chickens will make their only appearance of the season. Cobra Chickens, known better as the Canadian Goose, join the list of teams that have made one-time jerseys, such as the Swift Current Slough Sharks and Brandon Wheat City Walleye.
