Wednesday, October 14th – 6-4 WIN vs. Regina: The Hurricanes picked up a 6-4 win over the Pats on Wednesday to end Regina’s three-game winning streak. Tyler Wong had a third period hat-trick in the victory while Ryley Lindgren scored a pair in the victory.
Saturday, October 17th – 5-3 WIN at Swift Current: It wasn’t perfect, but the Hurricanes picked up a 5-3 road win over the Broncos on Saturday. Andrew Nielsen led all Hurricanes scorers with three points (1g-2a) while Jayden Sittler made 40 saves in the win. It was the Hurricanes fourth straight victory and improved them to 6-2-0-0 to start the season.
THIS WEEK’S GAME SCHEDULE
Friday, October 23rd, 7:00pm vs. Swift Current Broncos: The Hurricanes play their final home game of the month on Friday as they welcome the Broncos less than a week after beating them 5-3. The ‘Canes have an impressive 4-1-0-0 record at the ENMAX Centre.
Saturday, October 24th, 7:00pm at Edmonton Oil Kings: The Hurricanes kick off a six-game road trip Saturday in Edmonton. The Hurricanes won two out of three games last year at Rexall Place. The Hurricanes will head west with five games through the BC Division after this game. LISTEN LIVE ON ROCK 106!

NEWS & NOTES
Best Start in 14 Years: With a record of 6-2-0-0 on the season, it is the best start through eight games the Hurricanes have had since the 2001-2002 season when they started the year 6-1-1-0. The Hurricanes didn’t win their sixth game until November 26th during the 2014-2015 season.
Captain Clutch: Tyler Wong continues to roll. The Captain is up to a dozen goals already this season through eight games. He has scored in every game but one this year and is riding a five game goal scoring streak. He has accounted for 30% of the Hurricanes goals this year.
Canada Representation: The Hurricanes three (the most of any WHL team) 16-year-old’s Jordy Bellerive, Brett Davis and Nick Watson have all been selected to represent Canadaattend the upcoming World Under-17 Hockey Challenge. The tournament will take place in Dawson Creek and Fort St. John, BC from October 30th until November 7th. The three will be named to one of three Canada squads: Canada Black, Canada Red, or Canada White.
