Lethbridge, AB – The Lethbridge Hurricanes are looking for the right person to join our sales and marketing team as a Client Services Coordinator. The Hurricanes Hockey Club continues to make improvements on ice, and local fans and sponsors are going to be the beneficiaries. With a collection of quality veterans, character leaders and blue chip prospects, the team is poised for long term success.
The business team is focussed on brand building, long term strategic planning, disciplined selling and process mapping. Internally we have aligned skill sets and areas of interest and added sales and marketing capacity and competency. We are very excited about the mix of products and services in our product portfolio for 2012/13. The Hurricanes are looking for a Client Services Coordinator to join the business team.
Marketing as a functional area covers – advertising, promotion, selling and communication. This person will be an integral part of the planning, development and execution of sales and marketing plans. Each member of the sales and marketing team will contribute collaboratively, collectively and competitively, the business cycle will determine the timing and intensity of these functions. Translation: As part of the Sales and Marketing team – the candidate will work on marketing, team selling, and execution…and at times doing all three. There will be opportunities to create, develop, sell and deliver products/services.

Primary Responsibilities of the Client Services Coordinator:
Outbound Marketing – aggressive and disciplined outbound marketing and lead generation activity. This is a combination of direct marketing; email marketing, data base development, departmental team selling. Primary products are Tickets (the business cycle will determine what ‘category’ of tickets is the ‘focus of the day’). Marketing and advertising assets will also be marketed as appropriate. Expectation: Plan and execute outbound marketing and communications activation levels in an effort to generate sales, leads and follow up appointments for the sales director.
Product Development – through strong planning, customer feedback, gap analysis and regular creative sessions, the sales and marketing team will constantly be looking for
new and better products that deliver value to customers and revenues to the organization. Expectation: Be an integral part of the product development and new business process.

Job Description:
Reporting: Business Manager
The Client Services Coordinator, under the direction of the Sales Director. Responsibilities include selling and servicing new accounts, create new ideas to increase ticket sales and perform basic office functions as needed.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
• Sell Lethbridge Hurricane ticket products including season tickets, partial/mini plan packages, group tickets, and individual event ticket products.
• Build relationships to provide repeat business and excellent customer service.
• Act proactively to create opportunities for new business with existing customers.
• Make cold calls from provided lists to area companies to sell season, group and partial plan ticket packages.
• Call past customers and cold call new sales leads to generate sales.
• Handle incoming sales calls from sales prospects for all ticket products.
• Conduct in-arena appointments and tours of ENMAX Centre to assist in closing new business and developing new relationships.
• Meet or exceed assigned sales goals for all ticket products.
• Maintain complete and accurate records of all ticket product customers.
• Work games to support ticket sales promotional initiatives.
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Excellent computer skills — proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and online research
