Hurricanes Home Opener
Lethbridge, AB – After a seven month absence the Lethbridge Hurricanes will bring hockey back to the ENMAX Centre this weekend as they play host to the Prince George Cougars. The Hurricanes have taken five of a possible 10 points thus far in the 2010-11 season – including a pair of road wins over Central division rivals – the Calgary Hitmen and the Medicine Hat Tigers in their home openers. Now the Canes make their return to the friendly confines of the ENMAX Centre for the first time this season.
Headlining the DQ Home Opener – The Hurricanes are very pleased to welcome country music star – Trevor Panczak who will be on hand to honor our country with the singing of “O Canada”. Also, all Season Ticket holders should be sure to take in the game as the Hurricanes will be drawing the winner of the Hurricanes Golden Ticket in the first intermission!
Game time is set for 7:00 PM in Lethbridge, with doors opening at 6:00 PM – The Hurricanes would like to encourage all fans to arrive early for the pre game festivities. Visit the Hurricanes office or contact the Ticket Centre at 329 SEAT for ticket details. Also if you buy two meal combos at participating Dairy Queen locations you will get two free tickets to the Dairy Queen Home Opener while supplies last! The Canes would also like to remind all Season Ticket holders to be sure to drop by the Ticket Centre location located in the west parking lot of the ENMAX Centre to pick up your 2010-11 Season Ticket Package prior to opening night.
