Check-Out the Canes

Lethbridge, AB – The month of October is “National Library Month” and the Lethbridge Hurricanes are excited to announce a partnership with Lethbridge Public Library in a new initiative called “Check-Out the Canes.”

From 2:00pm to 4:00pm on Saturday, October 26^th, 2013 the public will have an opportunity to have a short visit with some of the Hurricanes players and get to know them as a hockey player – what it’s like to be a member of the team, what a practice and game day is like and what they do in the community. For those children who may not ask questions, the players will be on hand to read with the kids.

Be sure to watch for the staff from the Lethbridge Public Library on the concourse at the Hurricanes games on October 22^nd and October 24^th to book your time slot and sign up for your visit with the Hurricanes.
