Canes tally 3-2 win in Regina
Cody Castro tallies first WHL goal; Canes take on Brandon Tonight!
rRegina, SK – Dwight King (14G) tallied the game winner to lead the Canes to their fifth consecutive road win; with a 3-2 victory over the Pats on Tuesday evening in Regina. Cody Castro scored his first WHL goal while Cam Braes had the other Lethbridge marker. Rookie Garrett Taylor notched a pair of assists, while Juha Metsola raised his record to 15-13-0-1.

rWednesday’s game will mark the second meeting between the Canes and Wheat Kings in the 08-09 season. The Hurricanes took a 4-2 victory over the Wheaties on November 28th at the ENMAX Centre in Lethbridge in their first meeting of the year. Zach Boychuk led the way with a three point (1G,2A) while Cam Braes, Dan Iwanski and Colton Sceviour scored the other Hurricanes goals. For Sceviour and Boychuk it was their third game in as many nights after playing both games for Team WHL in the Canada/Russia Challenge.
