GAME DAY: Hurricanes Visit Alberta Capital
Edmonton, AB – The Lethbridge Hurricanes make their first of three trips to Edmonton today to face the Oil Kings at 4:00pm at Rogers Place.
The Hurricanes (1-1-0-1) are coming off a 5-2 loss on Friday night at the ENMAX Centre to the Red Deer Rebels. It was the ‘Canes first regulation loss despite outshooting the Rebels 42-15. Dylan Cozens made his season debut for the Hurricanes collecting a goal and an assist in the defeat while Calen Addison scored the other goal in the game.
The Oil Kings (2-0-1-0) have earned points in all three games so far this season but were handed a 4-3 overtime loss Friday in Calgary against the Hitmen. Jake Neighbours, Dylan Guenther and Josh Williams scored in the defeat while Todd Scott made 33 saves.

LAST GAME: 5-2 Loss vs. Red Deer Rebels: The Lethbridge Hurricanes were downed 5-2 Friday night by the Red Deer Rebels at the ENMAX Centre despite holding the edge in shots 42-15 in the game. Dylan Cozens scored and added an assist in his return while Calen Addison scored the other in the loss.
VS. OIL KINGS: Tonight will be the first of six head-to-head meetings on the season between the Hurricanes and the Oil Kings. Last year, the Hurricanes posted a 2-4-0-0 record against the defending Central Division champion Oil Kings. Lethbridge was 1-2-0-0 last season at Rogers Place.
