GAME DAY: Hurricanes Look to Extend Winning Streak Against Broncos
Lethbridge, AB – The Lethbridge Hurricanes make their third trip to Swift Current to face the Broncos tonight at 6:00pm MT at the InnovationPlex.
The Hurricanes (23-19-3-0) enter on a two-game winning streak after earning a 4-2 win on Tuesday at home against the Edmonton Oil Kings at the ENMAX Centre. Hayden Pakkala scored twice while Kash Andresen and Logan Wormald added the others; Harrison Meneghin made 32-saves in the victory. Lethbridge enters with a 9-12-0-0 record on the road this season.
The Broncos (22-18-3-2) have lost their last four games going 0-3-1-0 in that span. Swift Current is coming off a 3-2 overtime loss on Sunday in Saskatoon against the Blades. Conor Geekie scored both goals in the losing cause while Reid Dyck made 31-saves in the defeat. Swift Current enters tonight with a 13-4-2-1 record at home this season.

Career-High: Hurricanes goaltender Harrison Meneghin reached the 20-win plateau for the first time in his career with a 6-1 win over the Regina Pats on January 26th surpassing his previous high of 19 victories set in 2022-2023. NHL Ink: Hurricanes defenceman Noah Chadwick signed a three-year entry-level contract with the Toronto Maple Leafs on December 22nd. The Saskatoon, SK, product was a sixth-round (185th overall) selection by the Leafs in the 2023 NHL Draft. He became the first ‘Cane since Dylan Cozens (BUF) to sign an ELC deal. Chadwick has recorded 37 points (9g-28a) in 43 games with the Hurricanes this season.
