GAME DAY: Hurricanes Host Ty Nash & Winnipeg ICE
Lethbridge, AB – The Lethbridge Hurricanes welcome the Winnipeg ICE tonight in the second of a two-game homestand tonight at 7:00pm at the ENMAX Centre.
The Hurricanes (3-3-0-0) enter having earned a 3-1 victory on Saturday over the Prince Albert Raiders to end a two-game losing streak. Logan Wormald, Miguel Marques and Cole Shepard scored in the victory while Jared Picklyk made 19-saves. Lethbridge enters tonight with a 2-0-0-0 record at home this season.
The ICE (5-1-0-0) enter after suffering their first loss of the season on Saturday falling 4-1 in Moose Jaw to the Warriors. Sabres prospect Matthew Savoie scored the only goal in the losing cause while Dawson Cowan made 23-saves in the defeat. Winnipeg will play the seventh of what is 13-straight road games to start the season.
Tonight will be the first of four head-to-head meetings on the season between the Hurricanes and ICE. Lethbridge posted a 1-3-0-0 record against Winnipeg last year.

VS. ICE: Tonight will be the first of four meetings on the season between the Hurricanes and ICE. Clutch Cutch: Third year defenceman Logan McCutcheon enters tonight having collected five assists on the season and sits as the team leader in points. He is on pace for 57 points on the season. McCutcheon had a career-high 28 points last season for the ‘Canes finishing second in team defenceman scoring.
