2011-2012 Year end Awards
Lethbridge, AB – The Lethbridge Hurricanes carried on the tradition of recognizing player accomplishments in their final home game of the season Saturday night. In their Annual Awards night, the team took time in a pregame ceremony to recognize a number of players for their performance on and off the ice with a total of 10 awards being handed out.
2011 – 2012 Hurricanes Awards
Community Relations Award: Brody Sutter
Scholastic Player of the Year Award: Adam Henry
Most Sportsmanlike Award: Brody Sutter
Top Defenseman Award: Dan Johnston
Top Scorer Award: Brody Sutter
The 94.1 CJOC Three Stars Award: Damien Ketlo
Fan Favorite Award: Brody Sutter
The Joan Kobal Memorial Award (Perseverance, Dedication and Sportsmanship): Brady Ramsay
The Carl Trentini Memorial Award (Rookie of the Year): Sam McKechnie
Harry Ingarfield Memorial Award (Most Valuable Player): Damien Ketlo
The ceremonies were capped off as the team recognized their two graduating players, Damien Ketlo and Captain Brody Sutter. General Manager and Head Coach presented both 20-year olds with their framed jerseys and game photo.
