GAME DAY: Hurricanes Head to Red Deer Tonight
Lethbridge, AB – The Lethbridge Hurricanes will travel to Red Deer tonight to face the Rebels at 7:00pm at Westerner Park Centrium after the Western Hockey League had to re-jig the Central Division schedule.
The Hurricanes (3-6-2-0) have been off since a 5-4 overtime loss on Sunday, March 28th at Medicine Hat against the Tigers. Chase Wheatcroft, Noah Boyko, Justin Hall and Joe Arntsen scored in the overtime loss while Carl Tetachuk made 27-saves. The ‘Canes enter tonight on a five-game losing streak having gone 0-3-2-0 in that span.
The Rebels (2-9-2-0) are coming off six-straight losses, all to the Edmonton Oil Kings. Red Deer was last in action on Monday when they were handed a 6-1 loss at the Centrium. Arshdeep Bains scored the lone goal in the defeat for the Rebels. Red Deer has posted a 1-1-1-0 record against Lethbridge this season.
