Kid Correspondent Opportunity

The Calgary Hitmen Hockey Club have introduced an exciting new opportunity for a young aspiring journalist to go behind-the-scenes for the 2012-13 Western Hockey League season. The team is searching for the first ever Calgary Hitmen Kid Correspondent, age 10 and under, to be the host of a special segment that will be featured in-game and on www.hitmenhockey.com.
Parents and guardians are encouraged to submit video auditions starting today, Monday, August 27 through to Friday, September 14 by visiting www.hitmenhockey.com/kidcorrespondent. Three qualifiers, selected from the audition entries, will receive a Hitmen prize pack that includes one replica jersey, four tickets to the Adrenalin Source For Sports Home Opener on Saturday, September 22 and a sample interview opportunity with members of the club.
From the group of three qualifiers, one lucky child will be named the 2012-13 Hitmen Kid Correspondent and provided the opportunity to interview Calgary Hitmen players and coaching staff throughout the year. In addition, the winner will receive 20 Calgary Hitmen regular-season ticket vouchers and a team-signed replica jersey.
