HITMEN PICK NINE IN 2023 WHL PROSPECTS DRAFT
The Calgary Hitmen Hockey Club selected nine players including five forwards, three defencemen and one goalie in the 2023 WHL Prospects Draft held online today. The Prospects Draft was for 2008-born players from the four western provinces and select U.S states.
“We’re excited and happy with the group of players we selected today. We got a little bit of everything. We tried to key in on some skill and talent and we’ve accomplished that.” said Garry Davidson Director of Player Personnel. “It’s the old saying, you can’t have enough skill and talent. When you don’t have it, it’s very hard to get it. As they say, talent is very expensive. We focused on that and I think we’ve come up with a really skilled, talented group.”
