TRADE: Calgary Hitmen Aquire Forward Ty Meunier from Prince Albert
Calgary, AB –The Calgary Hitmen have acquired 2008 born forward Ty Meunier from the Prince Albert Raiders along with a second-round pick in the 2026 WHL Prospects Draft and a fourth-round pick in 2027 in exchange for forward Brandon Gorzynski.
“We thank Brandon for his time with the Calgary Hitmen. He was an outstanding person and grew to be a very impactful two-way forward.” said Hitmen General Manager Garry Davidson “He is headed to a great organization, and we wish him all the best in Prince Albert and beyond.”
Meunier was drafted by the Prince Albert Raiders in the first round (7th overall) in the 2023 WHL Prospects Draft. The forward from St. Albert, AB is in his second season in the WHL, coming off a successful 16 year-old rookie season with 29 points (14G,15A) in 68 games played. The forward currently sits with 15 points ( 6G, 9A) in 29 games played in the 2025-26 campaign.
