RECAP: Daniel Hauser Earns Back to Back Shutouts in 5-0 Win over Brandon
The Calgary Hitmen extended their winning streak to three games with a 5-0 victory over the Brandon Wheat Kings on Friday night at Westoba Place.
Goaltender Daniel Hauser made 28 saves to record back-to-back shutouts for the second time in his Western Hockey League career and move into a tie for sixth place on the WHL’s all-time regular season wins list with 116.
Ben Kindel returned to the Hitmen lineup off a two-game WHL suspension and was one of a trio of players to record three points. Kindel scored twice and added an assist while Tanner Howe notched a goal and two assists with Oliver Tulk setting up three goals. Tulk’s performance pushed him into an elite club, becoming just the sixth player in franchise history to reach 250 career points.
