Hitmen To Pass At CHL Import Draft
Yeryomenko has been with the Hitmen for two years, after being selected in the first round of the 2016 CHL Import Draft. In 215 career games, the Belarus native has racked up 66 points, (19G, 47A) and is coming off a breakout season which saw the defenceman finish fifth in team-scoring with 41 points. Yeryomenko was named the top defenceman for the club and also represented Belarus at the 2018 IIHF World Junior Hockey Championships, finishing the tournament with 4 points (1G, 3A) in six games. The 19-year-old is currently attending Nashville Predators Development Camp after being selected in the fifth round, 155th overall, in the 2018 NHL Draft.
Zamula joined the Hitmen on Jan. 10, 2018 after being claimed off WHL Import Waivers from the Regina Pats. The Russian appeared in 31 games for the Hitmen chipping in 11 points, (2G, 9A) to end the campaign with 18 points. The 18-year-old was selected in the first round of the 2017 CHL Import Draft after a strong season with Metallurg Magnitogorsk of the Russia U17 league, racking up 26 points in 36 contests. Zamula also represented Russia internationally at the IIHF World World U-18 Championships, ending the tourney with two points, (1G, 1A) in six tilts.
