Eric spent his first season and a half in the WHL with the Victoria Royals before being acquired by the Saskatoon Blades on January 10th, 2018. Eric then played 28 games with the Blades in 2018 and posted 9 goals and 13 assists for 22 points. Played in the 2018 CHL/NHL Top Prospects game with Team Cherry and was drafted in June 2018 by the Washington Capitals. He was traded to the Vancouver Giants on January 9th, 2020.
