Giants Host Acceptance Day on February 17th
The Vancouver Giants will host the Victoria Royals for Acceptance Day at the Pacific Coliseum on Wednesday, February 17th! Puck drop is scheduled for 12 noon, and over 5,000 school-aged children will be in attendance to take part in the fourth annual Acceptance Flash Mob!
“The Giants as an organization are proud to be able to provide this fun afternoon that brings the serious message of acceptance to light,” said Giants Vice President, Business Development Dale Saip. “The choreographed dance combines a great visual spectacle with an important message, and we’re excited to be a part of it for a fourth straight year.”
The Giants have partnered with schools from throughout the Lower Mainland for a fourth consecutive year to host the Flash Mob in recognition of Anti-Bullying Day on February 24th. The afternoon will also feature a performance from Dan Caro (find out more about Dan and his story by clicking here) while Brandee Bublé will be on hand to read from her new children’s book, “Jayde the Jay Bird”!
