G-Men Fall Short in Speedy Creek
The Vancouver Giants lost the final game of their East Division road trip, falling 4-1 to the Swift Current Broncos at the Credit Union i-plex on Saturday night. Taylor Crunk had Vancouver’s lone goal. The G-Men return home with a record of 3-3-1-1 on the season.

Neither side scored in the first period, but Crunk broke the deadlock at 2:37 of the middle frame, scoring from in front on a power play. Jon Martin responded before the end of the period to tie the game at 1-1.
The Broncos scored three times in the third period to clinch the win. Martin found the net again before Calvin Spencer scored on a power play, and Martin added an empty netter to lock up his hat-trick.
Vancouver went 1-for-5 on the power play.
Ryan Kubic stopped 23 of 26 shots in goal for the Giants.
