Halaburda Wins Bronze at U18s

TY HALABURDA WINS A BRONZE MEDAL WITH CANADA AT THE WORLD U18 CHAMPIONSHIPS

Basel, Switzerland – Giants forward Ty Halaburda added a medal with Team Canada to his resume as his U18 squad defeated Slovakia 4-3 in overtime on Sunday to secure a Bronze Medal at the World U18 Championships.

Halaburda, ranked #89 by NHL Central Scouting in their final rankings, produced a goal and two assists during the tournament in which he appeared in all seven games. This was Halaburda’s second time representing Canada, he also played in the 2021 U17 Championship. The forward had 37 points this past season for Vancouver.

 Vancouver Giant Tyler Benson also won a Bronze Medal at the tournament in 2015.
