Adam Morrison Joins Providence Bruins

Vancouver Giants goaltender Adam Morrison has joined the Providence Bruins of the American Hockey League. The 20 year old goaltender signed a 3 year entry level contract with the Bruins March 15, 2012.

In his final year in the WHL the 20 year old finished the year 36-17-2-1 with a 2.82 goals against average, a save percentage of .899, and 1 shutout. The Giants acquired the White Rock, BC native from the Saskatoon Blades October 4, 2011.

The Providence Bruins currently sit in 13th place in the AHL Eastern Conference standings, 5 points out of a playoff spot with 5 games remaining. Morrison will join former Giants captain Craig Cunningham, who has 35 points in 71 games with Providence this season.
