WHL Clubs Announce Dates for Opening Two First-Round Playoff Games
Vancouver – BC – The Vancouver Giants have clinched home ice advantage in the first round of the WHL playoffs and will host games one and two on Friday, March 21st (7:30 pm) and Saturday, March 22nd (7:00 pm) against an opponent yet to be determined.

Chiefs First Two Playoff Games on Sale Tuesday
Spokane, WA – The Spokane Chiefs have clinched home ice advantage in the first round of the WHL playoffs and will host games one and two on Friday, March 21st and Saturday, March 22nd against an opponent yet to be determined.
Tickets to those games will go on sale at 9:00 am on Tuesday, March 11th at the Spokane Chiefs office at (509) 535-PUCK or at TicketsWest at (800) 325-SEAT.
Ticket package holders have the first opportunity to purchase their seats in a special playoff package for all home playoff games.
The Chiefs are in a race for the top spot in the Western Conference with eight games remaining. Currently, Spokane has 94 points, four points behind the Tri-City Americans in the U.S. Division and two points behind the Vancouver Giants, who have clinched the B.C. Division.
Spokane will play four games in five nights this week beginning on Wednesday night when they host the Portland Winter Hawks. Tri-City will visit on Friday and Chilliwack on Saturday night before the Chiefs travel to Seattle on Sunday.
Americans Announce Dates for Opening Two First-Round Playoff Games
KENNEWICK, WA – The Tri-City Americans, currently having their best season in franchise history, have secured their first two dates in the Western Hockey League’s 2008 Playoffs.
The first round, best-of-seven series will be played at the Toyota Center in Kennewick on Friday, March 21st and Saturday, March 22nd for Games 1 and 2. Game times are 7:05 p.m. for both contests. Fans are encouraged to check the Americans’ website, www.AmsHockey.com , in the coming days for further playoff information.
The Americans’ first-round playoff opponent is still to be determined.
