Week in Review:
Wednesday, January 22, 2014 vs. Lethbridge Hurricanes – 7-1 Win
Chase Souto and Tyson Ness each scored twice to help the Blazers to a 7-1 win over the Lethbridge Hurricanes. Cole Ully and Matt Revel pitched in with a goal and an assist and Sam Grist finished with two assists for the Blazers. Bolton Pouliot had a good outing in goal with 30 saves for the victory. Friday, January 24, 2014 vs. Victoria Royals – 7-2 Loss
The Blazers scored first, but it was downhill from there losing 7-2 to the Royals. Josh Connolly recorded his 10th goal of the season and Chase Souto also scored for the Blazers. The Blazers lost the services of Tyson Ness and Matt Needham in the game. Bolton Pouliot let in four goals on 14 shots, while Cole Kehler stopped 25 of 28 shots over the final two periods. Saturday, January 25, 2014 vs. Medicine Hat Tigers – 4-0 Loss
The Tigers opened the scoring at the midway point of the game and added three goals in the third period to win 4-0. The Blazers had their chances including a breakaway by Cole Ully that was denied by goaltender Nick Schneider who made 19 saves for the shutout. Click here for Highlights and Recap.
Roster Moves and Injury Update
The Kamloops Blazers have made a few roster moves as injuries piled up this weekend. Deven Sideroff has been added to the roster for the week. The 16-year-old has had a good season with the Okanagan Hockey Academy with 55 points in 33 games. The Blazers will also have their 1st round pick in the 2013 WHL Bantam Draft, Quinn Benjafield, make his debut on Wednesday in Vancouver. For all the details, follow this link.
Family Day Game on Monday, February 10th at 2:00pm
The Kamloops Blazers will be hosting an afternoon game on Monday, February 10th for B.C. Family Day with the Tri-City Americans in town. There will also be a post-game FREE Fan Skate with the Blazers.
Family Day Packages include reduced tickets (Adult $15.50, Youth $9 and Child $7). Purchasing a Family Day ticket will also entitle you to a FREE popcorn or hot dog and pop! *Minimum of 1 Adult & 1 Youth or Child ticket must be purchased*

Alumni Update: Victor Bartley
Victor Bartley (2004-2008) has been playing this season for the Nashville Predators of the NHL.
The undrafted Bartley bounced around the minor leagues for a few seasons before settling in with the Milwaukee Admirals of the AHL. He was called up last season by the Predators and played 24 games recording seven assists. This past off-season, Bartley signed a one-way three-year NHL contract with the Predators. In 36 games with the Predators this season, Bartley has three assists.
Bartley played in 239 games with the Blazers recording 97 points over three and a half seasons.
Prospect Update: Jordan Deyrmenjian
Forward Jordan Deyrmenjian (10th round, 2013) is playing this season with the Greater Vancouver Canadians of the B.C. Major Midget League.
The 15-year-old has six goals and nine points in 29 games this season. The Canadians, who have the most 15-year-old players in the BCMML, are in fifth place in the 11-team league with a 16-14-2 record.
Deyrmenjian was selected by the Blazers in the 2013 WHL Bantam Draft and attended the Blazers training camp this past fall.
