Blades Set For Community Skate
Have you ever wanted to come skate with the Blades?
This weekend you’ll have your chance as the Blades have partnered up with the Lawson Heights Community Association for a community skate on Sunday, January 19th!
The Blades will be on the ice at 1:00PM at the St. George School rink in Lawson Heights.
The day will start off with the Blades playing a shinny game, with all fans invited to come out and watch. After the short shinny game, the Blades will then invite everyone onto the ice to meet and skate with the players.
But wait, there’s more!
A very special guest will be in attendance and on the ice as Jim Cuddy from Blue Rodeo will be out for the skate and to take part in the game!
Blades mascot Pokecheck will be in attendance along with the Blue Crew. Tim Horton’s will also be on the scene with coffee and hot chocolate, along with hot dog’s from Boryski’s and music!
The Blades would like to welcome all fans out to attend the fun afternoon, with a special thanks going out to Canadian Tire, Tim Horton’s and the Lawson Heights Community Association.
