The Blades are coming off of a 4-3 shootout loss in Regina last night as Troy Trombley was the story as the goaltender took home first star honours thanks to a 43 save night. The Blades got all of their goals from the blueline, with Ayrton Nikkel, Graeme Craig and Clayton Kirichenko all finding the back of the net. Special teams was also key for the Blades as they were 1 for 3 on the PP and perfect on the PK by going 3 for 3.
Tonight’s game is the third of the season between the Blades and Hurricanes. The season series has been split down the middle, with each team winning once in their own rink. The games have gone as follows:

You can come to the rink and take in some Ukrainian food and entertainment, while also celebrating some provincial heros through autograph sessions and during a pre-game ceremony. To help deal with the larger crowd and to allow fans to get into the autograph line, the doors will be open at 5:30PM for tonight’s game.
