2019 WHL Cup: Day 2 Blades’ prospects recap

Calgary, AB – Day two of the WHL cup saw a pair of Blades prospects have strong showings once again.

Brandon Lisowsky scored in the second straight game and Hayden Smith had an assist for the second straight game as Team British Columbia beat Team Manitoba 5-2. Lisowsky now has three points in this first two games as Smith has two through two games.

Lisowsky, Smith and Team BC will battle for first place in the standings on Day 3 against Team Alberta. While Ethan Chadwick, Mason Bueckert and Team Saskatchewan look for their first win against Manitoba.
