On Saturday, January 2nd, the Tri-City Americans (29-9-0-0, 58 pts, 1st in the U.S. Division) will play their first game of the New Year, as they head across the mountains to take on their U.S. Division rival’s, the Everett Silvertips (19-16-2-1, 41 pts, 4th in the U.S. Division). Game time is 7:05 p.m. at Comcast Arena. It is the fourth meeting between the two division rivals in the last two weeks, who last met on Tuesday in Kennewick. Tri-City leads the eight-game series 4 games to 1 with three of their wins coming by shutout. The Americans will look to keep their three-game road winning streak alive, while the ‘Tips will look to snap their three-game losing skid. Fans can catch all the action live, via WHL WebTV, at the Americans’ home away from home, Kimo’s Sports Café in Richland. The game will also be broadcast live on NewsTalk 870 AM, starting with the Sterling Savings Bank Warm-up Show at 6:45 p.m.
