CHLGOTW preview: Oceanic host Foreurs

This week’s CHL Game of the Week heads east along the Saint Lawrence to the hosts of the 2025 Memorial Cup the Rimouski Oceanic.

On the rise for a third straight week, the CHL Top 10’s fourth ranked Oceanic are riding a five-game winning streak as they return home to the newly renovated Colisée Financière Sun Life after a season opening nine-game road trip where they went 6-3-0.

Leading the Nics attack with 18 points in just 7 games is reigning QMJHL MVP Mathieu Cataford (VGK).

With 10 16 and 17 year olds on their roster – including the second, 16th and 17th overall picks from last summer’s QMJHL Draft – the Foreurs are the second youngest team in the Q.
