The Oshawa Generals got back at the Peterborough Petes, ending their five-game winning streak as Kyle Keyser stopped 29 of 30 shots in a 4-1 road win. Overage forward Eric Henderson (5, 6) scored a pair of goals while Danyk Drouin (1) and Jack Studnicka (4) also capitalized as the Gennies made up for a 2-1 loss at home to Peterborough last weekend. The CHL’s fifth-ranked Petes got their lone goal from defenceman Cole Fraser (2) while Hunter Jones made 40 saves in goal. Oshawa took the shooting column 44-30, improving to 4-4-1-0 on the campaign. The Petes fall to 8-3-0-0.
