OHL Players at 2013 NHL Training Camps

The Ontario Hockey League is proud to announce that 168 OHL players have participated in NHL training camps this season.

All 168 players competed in the OHL last season and are eligible to return for the 2013-14 season.  104 of those players are 1994 and 1995 birthdates, while 64 are 1993-born and overage eligible. 

The 168 players include 129 Main Training Camp invites, with an additional 39 players who only attended Rookie Camps.

Of the 168 players, 119 were selected through the NHL Draft, while the other 49 were free agent invites.  66 of the players attending NHL Camps have signed entry-level contracts.

All 20 OHL clubs sent at least one player to an NHL training camp with the London Knights leading the way by sending 19 players to camps including an impressive 17 returning-eligible players to main training camps across the NHL.

The OHL continues to be the leading supplier of talent to the NHL.
