From the O to the Pros: OHL Alumni Weekly Round-Up (Dec. 11, 2025)
The Ontario Hockey League continues to produce standouts at the professional level, with alumni making headlines across the NHL and AHL. From milestone moments to first career goals, OHL grads continue to shape the hockey landscape every week. Here’s a look at the top alumni stories from the past seven days.
Feature Stories of the Week (NHL)
Beckett Sennecke (Oshawa Generals)
On Dec. 9, he was one of four players to score a game‑tying goal in the final 30 seconds of regulation, marking the first time in NHL history that four separate games featured last‑second equalizers. Sennecke further etched his name in the record books as just the seventh rookie ever to tie a game in the final second of regulation – and the first to accomplish the feat while shorthanded. He also became the first rookie this season to reach the 25‑point milestone.
