OHL News – Radio Edition with host Terry Doyle and presented by Warrior Hockey features Montreal Canadiens prospect Michael McNiven of the Owen Sound Attack.
The 18-year-old from Georgetown, ON, is playing in his second OHL season with the Attack and currently carries a 16-14-7-3 record with three shutout victories this season along with a goals-against-average of 2.88 and save percentage of .907. McNiven signed an entry-level contract with the Canadiens as a Free Agent in September.
McNiven and the Attack are currently battling for playoff positioning in the OHL’s Western Conference holding onto sixth place just one point ahead of the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds as they get set for a weekend home-and-home with the Guelph Storm. He chats with Doyle about the Attack’s recent play, his season so far, and his experience signing a professional contract.
