Training Camp Tracker: OHL players at NHL camps
Hockey season is back! Take a look at the OHL players eligible for the 2024-25 season who are attending NHL camps over the course of the next week.
Each of the league’s 20 clubs sent at least two players to camps, with the London Knights leading the way with 17, followed by the Brantford Bulldogs with 12, the Saginaw Spirit with 11 and the Brampton Steelheads with 10.
All 32 NHL clubs welcomed at least one current OHL player to its camp. The Columbus Blue Jackets and Edmonton Oilers featured the most OHL talent with 9 players in attendance at their respective camps, followed by the Chicago Blackhawks with eight and the Pittsburgh Penguins with seven.
A total of 166 OHL players born in 2004 or younger attended camps with NHL clubs ahead of the 2024-25 season. As of October 4th, a total of 8 remain with NHL clubs.
