Windsor Spitfires 5 at North Bay Battalion 3
- A huge four-goal first period by the Spitfires gave them the edge, one they’d hold until the final buzzer despite a Battalion push.
- Spitfires forward Ryan Abraham was the game’s first star with a goal and two assists.
- Windsor’s Carter Hicks and North Bay’s Zach Wilson both scored his first career OHL goals for their respective teams.
- Anaheim Ducks prospect Ethan Procyszyn went on to score two for the Troops but it wasn’t enough to overcome Windsor’s big lead.
- Mike McIvor relieved Charlie Larocque, stopping 10-of-11 in his first action since Oct. 25th.
- Joey Costanzo made 35 saves for the win as Windsor improves to 14-4-1-0.
