1ST STAR: RYAN ROTH (SAULT STE. MARIE GREYHOUNDS):
Sophomore forward Ryan Roth stretched his goal-scoring streak to four games, netting a pair to lead the Soo Greyhounds over visiting Sarnia 4-2. The sophomore forward from Ladue, Mo. put home the game winner 6:07 into the third period as the Greyhounds maintained their one point lead atop the West Division. Roth now has 15 goals on the season, equalling his total from all of last season. The former free agent signing has a total of 28 points (15-13–28) through 40 games. He’s a graduate of the Honeybaked U16 program.

2ND STAR: ANDREW PERROTT (OWEN SOUND ATTACK):
Newly acquired defenceman Andrew Perrott made an impression on Wednesday, scoring the game winner as the Owen Sound Attack edged visiting Kitchener 4-3. The 17-year-old defenceman from Columbia Station, Ohio picked up an assist on Manuel Alberg’s first career OHL goal 9:29 into the first period and buried the eventual game winner with 5:15 left in the second period. Perrott’s first goal of the 2018-19 season came in his first career multi-point contest. The 6-foot, 202Ib defenceman is the son of former NHL forward and OHL graduate Nathan Perrott. The 2019 NHL Draft prospect was London’s second round pick in 2017.

3RD STAR: BRAYDEN GUY (SARNIA STING):
The Sting came up short, but sophomore winger Brayden Guy accounted for both goals in a 4-2 road loss to the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds. The 6-foot, 194Ib Brampton, Ont. native tallied his 12th and 13th goals of the season including his first career shorthanded goal as the Sting weren’t able to match the West Division-leading Greyhounds. Guy has 25 points (13-12–25) over 42 games this season after being Sarnia’s third round pick in the 2017 OHL Priority Selection from the Brampton 45’s Minor Midgets.
