Sting signs fifth round pick Ryan Chamberlain
Sarnia Sting General Manager Dylan Seca announced that the Hockey Club has signed 16-year-old Ryan Chamberlain to an Ontario Hockey League Scholarship and Development Agreement.
Selected in the 5th round, 101st overall, Seca added 6’0 forward Ryan Chamberlain in this year’s 2024 OHL Priority Selection from the Toronto Marlboros U16AAA. The Peterborough, Ontario native tallied 12 goals and 11 assists in 55 games last season.
On the signing of Chamberlain, Seca comments:
“Ryan is a player that we believe might have been the best skater in the ‘08 draft class, this skill set is something we value. He had a great summer and left a positive impression on the scouts and coaches this past week. With that he’s earned a position with the club this season. We welcome the Chamberlain family to Sarnia.”
