Steelheads sign second-round pick Troy Patton
MISSISSAUGA, ON – The Mississauga Steelheads announced the signing of their second-round pick in this year’s 2024 OHL Priority Selection, Troy Patton. Selected 34th overall, the 5’10”, 168-pound centreman is a product of the Barrie Jr. Colts.
The Mulmur Township, Ontario native recorded 55 points (24 goals, 31 assists) in 32 regular season games in his Minor Midget season in the OMHA this past year. Patton also put up 3 points (2 goals, 1 assist) over 5 games in the OHL Cup. He is described as a great 200-foot player with an extremely high compete level.

We look forward to watching Troy develop with the Steelheads beginning this Fall. Troy is an ultimate competitor with a big skill set.
