WINDSOR 4 – ERIE 3 – OT
Aaron Luchuk (17, 18) had himself another outstanding night as his second of the game was the overtime winner, giving the Windsor Spitfires a 4-3 win in Erie. Luchuk finished the night with two goals, two assists and 10 shots on goal, climbing back into the OHL goal-scoring lead with 18 on the year. Ottawa Senators prospect Logan Brown (4, 5) provided Windsor’s other two goals, finishing with two goals and an assist in the game. The Spits surrendered a 3-1 lead as Erie fought back to tie things up at three. Otters goals came from Ivan Lodnia (11), Carson Edwardson (4) and Josh Wainman (2). Taylor Raddysh was held off the scoresheet as his point streak came to an end at 11 games. Michael DiPietro made 29 saves for the Spitfires to record the win while forward Cole Purboo had two assists. Windsor’s fourth straight win sees the Spits climb to 11-5-1-0 in a competitive West Division. Erie falls to 8-7-2-1.

PETERBOROUGH 5 – BARRIE 4 – OT
Tampa Bay Lightning prospect Chris Paquette (6, 7) scored 2:20 into overtime with assists from Jonathan Ang and Matthew Timms as the Peterborough Petes prevailed in a see-saw affair, defeating the visiting Barrie Colts 5-4. Paquette and Ang (9, 10) both scored twice while Nikita Korostelev also lit the lamp and Timms had three assists. Barrie’s offence was largely fuelled by defencemen as Justin Murray (2), Joey Keane (2) and Kade Landry (3) all scored while forward Jaden Peca (2) also tallied. Landry’s goal came with just 1:15 remaining to tie the score at four and send the game to overtime. The Petes improve to an East Divison-leading 11-6-0-1 while the Colts remain atop the Central at 10-4-1-1.

GUELPH 3 – FLINT 2 – OT
Garrett McFadden (5) tied the score at two with 7:35 remaining in the third period before James McEwan struck with 55 seconds left in OT to give the Guelph Storm a 3-2 win in Flint. Goaltender Anthony Popovich had another strong outing with 38 saves while 2018 NHL Draft prospect Ryan Merkley (5) also found the back of the net. The Firebirds managed to collect a point despite dropping their seventh straight decision. Nicholas Caamano (8) and C.J. Clarke (2) provided Flint goals while Garrett Forrest made 42 saves in goal. The Storm improve to 8-7-0-2 while Flint falls to 6-9-2-0.

SAULT STE. MARIE 4 – NIAGARA 1
Tied 1-1 midway through action, the Soo Greyhound surged for three unanswered goals in the latter half of the game to defeat the visiting Niagara IceDogs 4-1. Boris Katchouk (17) scored the shorthanded game winner while Barrett Hayton (7), Tim Gettinger (9) and Hayden Verbeek (8) also tallied as the Hounds won their third straight to improve to 12-3-2-0. Sault Ste. Marie outshot Niagara 34-23 as Matthew Villalta made 22 saves to improve to 9-2-1-0 on the year. Edmonton Oilers prospect Kirill Maksimov (8) scored the lone goal for Niagara while Stephen Dhillon made 30 saves in goal. The loss is Niagara’s sixth straight as they fall to 7-5-3-1.

LONDON 4 – OWEN SOUND 1
A game scoreless until the third period saw the London Knights get the better of the Owen Sound Attack in a Midwest Division showdown. Anaheim Ducks prospect Max Jones (7, 8) scored twice as the Knights scored four unanswered in a 4-1 road win. Robert Thomas (12) and Sam Miletic (4) also got on the scoreboard while goaltender Joseph Raaymakers made 24 saves. Aidan Dudas (11) opened the scoring for the Attack, but that’s all the offence they’d muster as Owen Sound fell to 9-5-0-2. London improves to 6-9-2-0

SAGINAW 6 – NORTH BAY 1
Rookie forward Blade Jenkins (5, 6, 7) recored his first career OHL hat-trick leading the Saginaw Spirit to their third straight win in a 6-1 triumph over visiting North Bay. Damien Giroux (8) had a goal and two assists on the night while Cole Coskey (9) and Caleb Everett (1) added goals. New Jersey Devils prospect Evan Cormier stopped 22 of the 23 shots he faced, surrendering North Bay’s lone goal off the stick of Luke Burghardt (7). The Spirit improve to 6-8-2-0 while North Bay falls to 6-9-2-0. Jenkins now has a goal in four straight games.

HAMILTON 4 – OSHAWA 2
The Hamilton Bulldogs ended a four game slide Zachary Jackson (1), Ben Garagan (1) and Justin Lemcke (3) all had a goal and an assist in a 4-2 win over the visiting Oshawa Generals. Riley McCourt (1) also scored while goaltender Kaden Fulcher made 21 saves. The Bulldogs outshot the Generals 33-22, holding them to 0-for-6 on the power play. Kyle MacLean (3) and Allan McShane (3) provided Oshawa goals while Cole Ceci made 29 saves against his former club. The Bulldogs improve to 7-5-1-3, pulling even with 8-7-2-0 Oshawa in the East Division.

MISSISSAUGA 4 – SUDBURY 3
The Mississauga Steelheads continued their resurgence after a slow start to the season, winning for the fourth time in the past five games as Albert Michnac (8, 9) followed up a hat-trick on Friday with a pair of goals in a 4-3 road win over Sudbury. Michnac scored the eventual game winner with 6:22 left in the third period as Mississauga improved to 6-9-0-1. Jacob Cascagnette (6) and Cole Schwindt (5) had other Trout markers while Emanuel Vella made 33 saves in goal. Michael Pezzetta (9, 10) scored twice in the loss for Sudbury while Shane Bulitka (3) also found the back of the net and both Kyle Rhodes and Cole Candella had two assists. Mississauga outshot Sudbury 39-36 as Ryan McLeod extended his current point streak to 12 games with an assist.
