North Bay 5, Ottawa 4
- Ottawa’s Josh Brady opened the scoring 2:43 into action before North Bay replied with four consecutive goals, eventually holding on to win 5-4
- Newcomers Dylan Richter, Chase MacQueen-Spence and Stef Forgione all scored for the Battalion while Wyatt Kennedy had a pair of assists
- Pittsburgh Penguins prospect Cooper Foster scored twice for the 67’s, who trailed 5-2 before scoring twice in the final two minutes of regulation
- The 67’s went 3-for-8 on the power play while the Battalion were 1-for-5
- Mike McIvor made 23 saves for the win in the North Bay crease
- Brice Cooke made his Battalion debut
- A crowd of 2,956 took in the preseason game at TD Place Arena

Sarnia 3, London 2
- Trailing 2-0 after one period, Sarnia scored three in the second to pull ahead as Nick Surzycia and Karsen Chartier combined to make 39 saves in the win
- Zach Filak was in on all three Sting goals, finishing with a goal and two assists
- Filak’s linemates, Marko Sikic and rookie winger Ryan Brown had a goal and an assist
- Max McCue and Kasper Halttunen scored London goals as the Knights outshot the Sting 41-19
- Sarnia lost forward Easton Wainwright to injury in the first period as he was stretchered off the ice and did not return
- A crowd of 7,479 took in the game at Budweiser Gardens
Kingston 3, Erie 7 (in Cornwall)
- Anaheim Ducks prospect Carey Terrance, from nearby Akwesasne, scored twice as the Otters improved to 3-0 in preseason play
- Ondrej Molnar also scored twice for Erie, netting his league-leading fourth of the preseason while Brett Hammond, Malcolm Spence and Kaleb Smith added singles
- The line of Terrance, Spence and Sam Alfano (3A) combined for seven points
- Jacob Gibbons and Kyle Downey combined to make 17 saves for the Erie win
- Veteran defenceman Tommy Budnick scored twice for Kingston while Maddox Callens also found the back of the net
Guelph 4, Niagara 1 (in Beamsville)
- The Storm defeated the IceDogs on a second straight night as Ryan McGuire scored twice and Matt Poitras finished the night with a goal and an assist
- Michael Podolioukh scored Niagara’s lone goal with 5:16 left in the second period
- Ethan Kowatsch stopped 22-of-23 for Guelph opposite Owen Flores who made 34 saves as Guelph outshot Niagara 38-23
- Guelph improves to 3-0-0-1 in preseason play
- A sold out crowd of 700 was on hand at Fleming Memorial Arena in Beamsville for the game

Flint 3, Windsor 5
- Flint opened the scoring with a first period pair but Windsor countered in the final two minutes of the first to knot the score at two
- The Spits pulled ahead in the second, with Ryan Abraham scoring the deciding marker with 2:58 left in the middle stanza
- Aidan Castle, Jack Nesbitt and Kyler Morgan each recorded a goal and an assist while defenceman Carson Woodall also scored
- Marko Stojkov, Owen Pitters and Zacharie Giroux scored Flint goals
- Newly-signed netminder Carter Froggett made 36 saves for the win opposite Flint’s Nathan Day, who stopped 23
