OHL Post-Secondary Weekly Round-Up – Nov. 12, 2025
This season, 241 OHL alumni are suiting up across U SPORTS and NCAA hockey programs. Each week, we’ll highlight standout performances and rising storylines from both leagues. Here’s a look at the top moments from the past week of action.

Zach Roy Earns First Career OUA Shutout
Zach Roy (Hamilton) collected his first career OUA shutout win in Saturday’s 6-0 victory at RMC, stopping all 22 Paladins shots on goal. In two games this weekend, Roy stopped 55/58 total shots playing in back-to-back games, helping him earn Player of the Week for the Lakers.
Simon Rose Returns from Injury in Big Way
Simon Rose (North Bay) made a big impact in his first game back from injury this season. The assistant-captain notched the game-winning goal with a beautiful end-to-end tally in overtime and also added an assist in Friday’s overtime win over the York Lions, helping him earn Player of the Week for the Warriors.
Reid Valade Tops AUS Scoring
Reid Valade (Kitchener) is currently tied for the AUS lead in scoring with 19 points (10G, 9A) in eleven regular-season games.
Luca D’Amato Leads Plus/Minus
Luca D’Amato (Flint, Oshawa) still leads the AUS in plus/minus with a +12 rating, a +2 upgrade from last week. He also scored the overtime marker for the UNB Reds last Wednesday night.
Keegan McMullen Leads OUA
Keegan McMullen (Peterborough, Soo) leads the OUA in goals with nine in only eight games played.

Zach Wigle Earns AHA Rookie of the Week
Zach Wigle (Barrie, North Bay) was named AHA Rookie of the Week after scoring in both games of the Tigers’ sweep over Mercyhurst, including the game-winner in Saturday’s 3-2 victory. Among Division I freshmen, Wigle is tied for the lead in goals and is riding a five-game point streak (3G, 2A).
Dalyn Wakely Nets First NCAA Goal
Dalyn Wakely (North Bay, Barrie) was recognized as one of Hockey East’s Top Performers after recording his first career goal with an unassisted game-winner during a four-on-four situation and then adding an assist in a 6-1 win at New Hampshire. He finished the night with two points.
Austin Elliott Steady Between the Pipes
Austin Elliot (London) earned Hockey East Top Performer honours for the second consecutive week after posting a 1-1-0 record against New Hampshire. He allowed just one goal in each contest, stopping 25 of 26 shots in game one and making 26 saves in game two to secure a 6-1 victory. Elliott currently ranks second overall in Hockey East with a 1.93 GAA and .929 save percentage, and second in conference play with a 1.08 GAA and .955 save percentage.
Jack Beck Collects Four Points
Jack Beck (Ottawa, Soo) tallied four points over two games for Arizona State this past weekend. He registered a goal and two assists on Friday, then followed up with another goal on Saturday. His strong performance earned him a nomination for NCHC Forward of the Week..
Noah Morneau Named CCHA Rookie of the Week
Noah Morneau (Windsor) was honoured as CCHA Rookie of the Week after leading conference rookies in goals (2), points (2), and face-off percentage (58.3%). He helped Bowling Green split a road series against Minnesota State, with both teams earning shootout wins. Morneau recorded six shots on goal and one block, highlighted by his first collegiate two-goal game on Friday.
