PHILIP TOMASINO (NIAGARA ICEDOGS):
Niagara IceDogs 16-year-old rookie Philip Tomasino scored his first OHL goal on Thursday. The Dogs’ first round pick from this past April blazed down the right wing before ripping a quick release over the shoulder of Mississauga’s Jacob Ingham 6:34 into the first period. The IceDogs would go on to win 6-3 as Tomasino earned third star honours. A graduate of the Mississauga Rebels Minor Midgets, Tomasino has a goal and four assists through his first 10 OHL contests.
