Dennis Golovatchev commits to Frontenacs
Kingston, ON – Dennis Golovatchev has committed to the Kingston Frontenacs after being acquired in a trade from the Guelph Storm on Monday, September 17.
The Guelph Storm received a 3rd round pick (ER) in 2021 in the deal. They used their 3rd round selection in 2017 on Golovatchev.
A former OHL Cup champion who scored the championship-clinching goal for the Mississauga Reps in 2017, Golovatchev spent the 2017-18 season with the Burlington Cougars of the OJHL where he recorded nine goals and 11 assists for 20 points. He began this season with the Trenton Golden Hawks, playing in two games before being acquired by Kingston.
Golovatchev joined the team on Tuesday where he practiced both Tuesday and Wednesday.
