Rangers’ Martin Commits to University of Ottawa
The University of Ottawa Gee-Gees have announced that the Men’s Hockey Program has received a commitment from Kitchener Rangers overage forward Mitchell Martin. Martin will join the team ahead of the 2024-25 season.
The 6-foot-4, 205lb. left-winger joins the Gee-Gees after spending three seasons in the OHL with the Rangers. Selected in the fourth round (81st overall) by Kitchener in the 2019 OHL Priority Selection, the Sudbury, Ont. native registered 40 goals, 52 assists and 92 points over 133 regular season contests, along with 21 points (11-10-21) in 23 playoff contests.
