Wolves Partner with Bell Let’s Talk to Support Mental Health
Sudbury – On Friday, January 26, the Sudbury Wolves will be taking on not only divisional rivals, the Barrie Colts, but also the stigma that surrounds mental health in the 3rd annual Bell Let’s Talk game. Friday’s game also marks the return of Dmitry Sokolov who will face the Wolves for the second time this season. Game time is 7:05pm.
The first 2000 fans to arrive will receive Bell Let’s Talk toques and fans are encouraged to visit the Wolves United and Bell Let’s Talk tables in the lower lobby for more information. During the first intermission, Health Sciences North Foundation will receive a grant from the Bell Let’s Talk Community Fund.
1 in 5 Canadians will experience a form of mental illness at some point in their lives, making it an issue that affects the lives of all Canadians whether directly or indirectly. Talking openly about mental health is the first step in fighting the stigma and changing the way our society views mental illness.
