Wolves’ Future Bright with Levin
Finally, Wolves’ 1st overall selection David Levin finished in the Top 20 in OHL Rookie scoring despite missing 21 games due to his participation in the World U-17 Tournament and injuries.
When comparing Levin’s scoring exploits among 16-year-old OHL rookies only, Levin finished 7th overall with 30 points in 47 games. Levin had the 2nd best points-per-game ratio among 16-year-old rookies as well at .638. Austin Keating of the Ottawa 67s was first overall among 16-year-old rookies at .640 PPG with 32 points in 50 games.
