Lemaire Reassigned to Blind River
(Greater Sudbury, ON) The Sudbury Wolves announce that goaltender Jonathan Lemaire has been reassigned to the Blind River Beavers of the NOJHL.
“Jonathan is a huge piece of our future,” said Sudbury Wolves VP Hockey Operations and General Manager Rob Papineau. “He got to spend three months under the mentorship of Ukko learning the habits and routines needed to become the best. Now as a young guy (late 2002 birth) he needs to take the next step in his development and play a lot at a junior level. We really believe in him and his future with our team,” he added.
With Lemaire’s reassignment, the Wolves roster remains at 24 players including 2 goaltenders, 8 defenceman and 15 forwards.
The Wolves resume pre-season action on September 13th when they head to Timmins to face-off against the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies. They are back in action at home on September 27th for their 2019-20 Home Opener. Tickets are on-sale now at Sudburywolves.com.
